I am William Pounds, webmaster and interim chair of the new Arizona Green Party.
Arizona Greens already voted. The people spoke clearly in a democratic primary:
✅ Risa Lombardo — democratically nominated for Arizona Governor
✅ Duwayne Collier — democratically nominated for Secretary of State
Yet the current Arizona Green Party online presence is now actively working to undo those results and override the will of the voters.
That ends here.
This new platform exists for one reason: to defend democracy inside the Green Party. We will not watch insiders try to nullify the primary after the ballots were cast and counted. The voters chose. We respect that choice.
The new Arizona Green Party online presence will:
Stand with the democratically nominated candidates
Amplify Arizona Greens who believe the primary meant something
Build real infrastructure that actually serves the membership instead of fighting it
No more backroom reversals. No more pretending the election didn’t happen. No more silencing the people who showed up and voted.
